Jane is a super patient and fun teacher who took the time to get to know me as a person and designed assignments according to my many interests, especially art. During our lessons, we looked at many short stories and novels together and did some close reading in order to fully grasp the meaning behind each piece of text. She helped me build my vocabulary steadily each week, which allowed me to become more precise with my word choice in my writing. One of my favorite assignments was reading Fahrenheit 451 with Jane and analyzing the deep meaning behind words that seem insignificant at first glance. I really enjoyed having lessons with Jane, as she not only helped me with my reading and writing skills, but also sparked my interest for the English language.”

“Jane was the ideal person to guide our son through the college application process. She worked directly with him, which gave us that peace of mind that we could step back. Her insights prompted our son to reflect on and fine-tune the essay for the application to his first choice school, Emerson College. We were thrilled that Emerson accepted him and offered him a spot in the honors program! Jane’s expertise played a big role in that success.”

Russell Weatherspoon, instructor, Phillips Exeter Academy

“Truly gifted in the art of content development, Jane is my go-to education consultant and student mentor. As she counseled our international students through the college process, I witnessed her handle challenging, higher-profile clients with grace. Jane is able to think big-picture in helping students fully develop conceptual storytelling elements, while fine-tuning diction and grammatical details to enhance the overall success of the essay. Most impressive is her ability to inspire students who come to us without any idea of the goals they want to achieve. I cannot recommend her enough!”
